Sporting Clays Phenom Connor Daniel Wins FITASC at NSCA Southeast Regional
EAST ALTON, IL (June 7, 2023) — Team Winchester member Connor Daniel, age 15, outshot a full field of highly competitive sporting clay shooters at the recent NSCA Southeast Regional. Daniel won the FITASC slam event outright, a feat that has never been done by a Sub-Junior.
Daniel claimed top honors while best friends and Team Winchester members, Zach Kienbaum and Joe Fanizzi finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Across the board, Team Winchester performed well in all events, but particularly in the FITASC Parcours.“Congratulations to Connor on a remarkable achievement. Team Winchester sporting clay shooters continue to represent the Winchester brand and legendary AA® shotshells at the highest level. Daniel rolled through the Southeast Regional crushing clay targets primarily using Winchester AA®, Lite-Handicap shotshells, a 1-ounce, 1,290 feet per second, #8 shot load.

- Connor Daniel: FITASC High Overall, Super Sporting Runner-up, Sub-Junior Main Event Champion, Prelim Sub-Junior 3rd
- Joe Fanizzi: FITASC 3rd, 5-Stand Junior Runner-Up
- Kayla Wilgus: Prelim Sub-Junior Champion, 5-Stand Sub-Junior 3rd
- Desi Edmunds: Main Event Lady 3rd
- Anthony Matarese: Main Event 3rd, Prelim Runner-Up
- Mike Wilgus: Make-A-Break 3rd
The Southeast Regional event was held at Big Red Oak Plantation in Georgia, one of the most beautiful venues on tour.
This event was also one of the stops for the year long, Winchester Ladies Cup.

The Southeast Regional is the third of five total regional shoots which make up the NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester. The season finale takes place this October in San Antonio, Texas at the 2023 NSCA National Championship where a new National Champion and Winchester Ladies Cup Champion will be crowned.
